This product is both a moisturizer and a sunscreen. It is for normal to dry skin types.

It is broad spectrum, and contains both mineral and synthetic sun protectors. It is important to have both groups Mineral SPF sits on the surface of the skin and deflects sun rays, however at the first break of sweat or contact with water, it is no longer effective. That is when the synthetic component comes in play. It gets absorbed deeper into the skin layer, then catches UV rays and deactivates them. It takes about 15 mins or so after application to start working,but it will protect you from sun damage for much longer.
